Summary: We have a large house (3,500 sqft) and this does a good job of keeping some humidity in the house during the dry Northern Illinois winters. I like that this does not waste water, like most similar humidifiers.
Summary: There isn't much to say. I installed it, it was pretty easy to do, and it hooked up to my Nest thermostat easily (you do need to get a 24v relay separately). I love that it doesn't waste all of the water that most other models do. It works just like it is supposed to.
Summary: Works as advertised. As others have noted, this leaves a lot of material for you to purchase yourself. I happened to have most of that from a previous humidifier that I reused (ductwork, starter collar, wire for the remote sensor, wire from digital control to furnace).

Summary: I purchased this humidifier 4 months ago, in october. At the time, it was still pretty warm outside, and the humidifier didn't have to work very hard at keeping the humidity level up. Summary: We have a wood furnace and a log house and boy was it drier than dry this past winter (which was our first in this house) we bought this and paid a handyman to install it. It works pretty darn good in this big o'l house. So recommend this product. Especially since it doesn't require a drain line.
