Summary: bought a 10" YAMAHA sub to go with it ... can't turn it up too much ... shakes the house ... wish I could buy for every room in the house ... one thing ... it is a little bulky ... not one of the "slim" soundbars sold now ... but it is super solid and built to last ... a bit heavy tho ... just over 25lbs ... casing (even the grill) is metal ... not cheap plastic ... BUT IT IS AMAZING ... sometimes you actually do get what you pay for ...
Summary: We bought this for our home theater with projector. It seems that it is only possible to have 3 video inputs. Aux 1 is limited to sound. We dont have enough input for our devices (rocky, dvd, cable, wii).
Summary: The Yamaha YSP-3050BL has brought great sound into my living room! This soundbar fills up the space (about 10' by 20') with crisp, full sound at even low volumes. I didn't get the paired subwoofer as I live on the top floor of an apartment building but the bass output by this speaker sounds great even without one. Would recommend this for anyone who is trying to save space on accessories while filling a room with sound.
Summary: Part of a review I did for easy home theater:Shows what I paired it up with- So being a person that loves having a great home theater experience, but having a small budget, I had to figure out ways to get exactly what I needed for my living area to be truly entertaining. First thing I had to look for, was a television that worked for me.
Summary: I received a large screen Panasonic HDTV for my birthday, and although I loved the picture, I was not satisfied with the sound coming from the built-in speakers. The TV is in our bedroom, and therefore, I did not want to go with a multi-speaker setup. I decided to look at soundbars.
Summary: Fantastic sound bar! I've owned it for about a year w/an attached sub woofer and it rocks. Great for a small apartment and for one who doesn't want wires everywhere. Someday I will be able to install flush mount speakers and have wiring in the walls but for now this little guy kicks.
Summary: The Yamaha YSP-3050 is my first soundbar purchase, and I settled on it after reading lots of reviews (both professional and peer) which praised its sound quality. I was interested in a soundbar because I was averse to setting up a true 5.1 or 7.1 speaker system for various reasons, and Yamaha was consistently rated at the top of the field. I took advantage of Amazon's offer of a free Yamaha YST-FSW050BL Advanced YST II Down-Firing Active Subwoofer with purchase.
Summary: TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT....I WISH THAT I CAN RETURN IT.(TOO LATE BECAUSE OF TROUBLE SHOOTING FOR MORE THAN A MONTH) EVEN WITH THE SUBWOOFER THE SOUND IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE SOUND I HEARD WITH OTHER SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERS. THE WIRING IS COMPLICATED. UNLESS YOU HAVE A SPACE TO PUT IT IN YOUR ENTERTAINMENT CENTER I WOULD SUGGEST A DIFFERENT SYSTEM..MY HUSBAND HAD TO BUILD A BLACK BOX UNDER THE FLATSCREEN IN ORDER TO PLACE THE PROJECTOR..
Summary: Yamaha YSP-3050 DSP We've had this unit for a few months now and completly satisfied. My wife did'nt like the looks of the Bose speakers we had before and after two years of looking at various systems, we settled for this with no regrets. Sort of a gamble because most stores do not have them, not a Best Buy, Costco or Wal-Mart item. Setup was easy, just follow the instructions. We already had a subwoofer and sure that will make a difference.
