Great bang for the buck, and self test is a huge help.

Summary: Great sound on a budget. I'm no audiophile, but this is a bargin setup. The speakers are not heavy, and will likely not give you the *best* sound you've ever heard. but for ~$325 you get a nice 5.1 setup, decent sub, and a lot of connections. I recommend using a logitec harmony remote to keep the system use easy. Biggest help was the easy/built in mic sensor self test. Setup comes with a mic and a quick self calibration that really makes a difference.
Summary: This is an awesome Home Theater System. The AV Receiver has plenty of inputs/outputs for all of my devices, I will list them all below. There are also a ton of features with this unit, to many to name off here, so I will hit on the high spots. The sound from this unit is crisp and clear and a big step up from the Philips surround sound I had before. Watching Blu-Rays with DTS-HD Master 5.1/7.1 immerses you right into the movie.
Summary: Perfect size for my 18x14 media room. Excellent sound quality for the price. A higher capacity front sound bar would have been nice, but overall sound quality is very good. Easy set up and customer service was awesome. Had a few questions and they walked me thru everything I needed.
Summary: Good system at the price offered. The big con was the length of speaker wire supplied. Its easy to purchase extra wiring, but I expected it to cover my relatively small living room.Quality of sound is good so far.May update once I try more instrumental music,3D etc.
Good sound but refurbishment not up to "as-new" standards

Summary: 4 star for sound 1 star for quality control When the unit was operating I was quite pleased with the sound. The bass was plenty powerful and the surround speakers did a great job. Upon on-boxing I noticed that the remote had a small nick in the plastic. Additionally all of the speakers were obviously repacked and had slight scratches on the high-gloss plastic. Neither of these things bothered me too much but the product died within 1 month.
Summary: My original plan was to by a 5.1 surround sound system and buy the subwoofer separately and use my Bose speakers that I had from my old system. Also I thought that HTIB doesn't have that much power, but with this unit, I was wrong. Read many of the reviews and decided to buy this particular model. it was very easy to setup, didn't have to read the manual. Like many of the reviews states the sounds quality is excellent and deep bass, (especially with HD movies).
