  • Summary: This is the first Yamaha I have ever owned and it they are all like this one, it will be my last.
  • Pros: The speakers sound great and appear well constructed. The sub woofer has plenty of punch for this system. The receiver has great sound and I especially like the silent cinema feature.
  • Cons: Unfortunately the receiver has too many cons for me to endorse. Overall I really hate this receiver to the point to which I am tempted to rip it out an chuck it in the trash. Good Deal on a starter system

  • Summary: A good system to start out with. However all the little annoyances add up to give -1 egg. The input problem and annoyance was easily solved, as i bought a Harmony programmable remote which takes the guesswork out of turning the system on to the right inputs anyways.
