Summary: Kind of a PIA to program but sounds great for the price. A little more complicated than I would like to get it to sync with an existing remote but it does work easiest thing is to YouTube how to set it up
Summary: This sound bar system has poor highs, great minds and good bass. The very few feature settings did not help much. Everything connected great, remote worked good, ir repeater was flawless, but sound quality was mediocre at best. This truly was not an item for me.
Summary: It's a Yamaha, what else can I say. Good sound for the price. I know that Yamaha produces a much better ones, but again if you are on a budget or simply do not want to spend a budle on a sound system, this one will do the job and you will be satisfied.
Seems Yamaha has followed many other manufacturers ... into the quality abyss.

Summary: Purchased Yamaha products about 10 years ago...all were of excellent quality. Seems Yamaha has followed many other manufacturers and cutting corners. Sound quality is bad, vocals are not clear and very little bass...and its aggravatingly boomy. No wonder is discontinued..
Summary: This soundbar was easy to "install" with a single optical cable to the television. The wireless subwoofer paired quickly with the soundbar. The sound is much better than that from the TV speakers and the unit actually produces a reasonable "surround" effect.
