Summary: i brought this and am quite pleased with it, i also thought it was a 500w rms system
Pros: cheap, i paid $400
Cons: subwoofer cable isnt long enough and when i play xbox or ps2 through the system it seems to not be as loud so i have to turn it up to -20.0 DB

Summary: Some of the comments below are Bombay or India specific - from a first time 5.1 channel system user in Bombay - been using it only for 4-5 days.
Pros: Good sound Night mode is interesting, but I wish I could tell the system to switch it on automatically between 10 pm & 7 am, rather than having to tell it every day! C...
Cons: India specific: Try plugging the power sockets of receiver & woofer into your wall outlet. They don't go! Most Indian homes will not accept the kind of plugs YHT-175 c...
