Can't even tell if it is working half the time.

M. J. Thysell, Amazon
12 July 2015
  • Summary: I've been using this sound bar for 6 months now and I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I regret my purchase. I really don't like the visual feedback (or lack thereof) that this model has to let me know what the settings are.

Get something better

Joseph N., Newegg
18 May 2015
  • Summary: If I could do it again I'd get something that will last, maybe a Sonos.
  • Pros: Cheap, decent product at a low price point. Works well with the Xbox One, easy to set up. The One can control power and audio levels. When I turn on the One it turns on my TV and the Sony Soundbar.
  • Cons: You do get what you pay for. The remote doesn't work any further than 4 feet away from the TV. The speakers hit a resonant frequency near the mid-high end. It's very noticeable and distracting, several friends have asked what was wrong with the speakers when watching shows or listening to music. ...

Not so great...

Nemo, Amazon
28 December 2014
  • Summary: My wife got this at a great price on Black Friday and gave it to me for Xmas. Since we have other Sony products I was excited to get it up and running. Turns out it just didn't sound that great and the sub-woofer (which is not wireless) is almost un-noticeable.

Worked great now it has crackling issues

Joshua D., Newegg
31 August 2014
  • Pros: Used to replace the tv speakers and worked great. Great Bass and fairly good mids. The price I got it for made it a great deal
  • Cons: Only lasted 4 months and now I cannot stand listening to it. Have gone back to using the stock tv speakers which are terrible. I am sure I just got a defective unit but now it is past it's return date and I am stuck with a non functioning soundbar.

Overall...wouldn't purchase again

Jp4089, Amazon
13 February 2014
  • Summary: I bought this at a local retail store for $104. The sound is ok. It isn't able to handle low bass sounds well and the dialogue sound was very low, but whenever we raised the volume it would be too loud, and the dialogue was still quiet. Sometimes it sounds like the speakers are about to blow out.

An ok soundbar

Arthur M., Newegg
6 December 2013
  • Summary: Bought the refurbished. The speaker of subwoofer is low quality. You better off using a computer speaker that's cheaper than this system that has mediocre quality and sound.
  • Pros: Cheap(refurbished)
  • Cons: Low quality sound

Probably best to avoid

Drattts, Amazon
16 March 2015
  • Summary: While the sound is surely an improvement over any standard TV speakers as the Sub provides some decent bass this product is flawed. Firstly as others have mentioned unless you mount either the TV above, or the main speaker below it blocks the signal to your TV.

Not Compatible with Sony equipment via Bluetooth

Paul, Amazon
23 September 2014
  • Summary: Bought this sound bar on the basis that I would be able to link it to my new Sony Bravia TVS. However, the two devices would not recognise each other. I contacted Sony support and was told that my Sony TV only recognises Broadband Mice, no other devices.
