good sound

S. Sharon, Amazon
4 January 2009
  • Summary: it sounds great. it's not Bose, but it also doesn't COST as much as Bose. Great for a medium sized room. DVD player is a little clunky, and i'm not a fan of 5-disc players, but it's what came with it. Oh well.

Good system for a small room!

Humphrey Bogart "hockeymask", Amazon
9 December 2008
  • Summary: I've had this system for about two months now and am pretty satisfied with it. Setting up the speakers was a pain in the ??? though. Connecting my HDTV,dish network box and DVD player(now a PanasonicBD35)was a little frustrating because I didn't realize you needed a optical digital cable to get any...

  • Summary: Wasn't sure I was going to be pleased with this system or not, after a few weeks just love it. Great system- just the right amount of inputs, nice easy setup, nice sound, and huge bang for the buck (payed $320), only complant I have is that the included DVD player when using a HDMI cable, needs a...

Highlife, Amazon
25 May 2008
  • Summary: Bang for the buck is great got my for under $300. Lots of features, easy setup with mic and sound is good but not great. The hook up of the speakers wires to the receiver is unbelievable diffcult and them keep coming loose. (2) remotes why?

Overall, pretty comprehensive system

M. Dahnke "former technophile", Amazon
24 April 2008
  • Summary: For the most part, this system does what it says it will do for a reasonable price. Set up is a little complicated, but just thumb through the manual(s). Only complaint is that in order to utilize the DMP(Digital Media Port) you have to buy a $100 docking station from Sony that is ONLY compatible...

Great basic system

M. KELLEY "Moab Kelleys", Amazon
19 March 2008
  • Summary: Bought the system for the many inputs and outputs to accompany the new DLP television. Hooking the HDMI cables to the unit seemed to be over kill once it was realized the TV had more than enough of these connections for the blue-ray, HD DVD and the Dish player.

Great system - plenty of inputs for extras

Ed, Amazon
29 February 2008
  • Summary: I am using this as the brain for my entertainment system in the living room. So far I have a Sony 40" Bravia 1080p connected, a HD-DVR, a turntable, the 5-disc changer, a separate CD player, a nintendo wii, and an ipod dock.

Plenty good

Tracy Hall, Amazon
28 February 2008
  • Summary: For 90-95% of consumers, this system is all the stereo you need. I think it's silly to have a system that is so powerful, you never turn the volume up past 30%. Why even have that much power if you will never use it?

Totally met my expectations

KayJo, Amazon
11 January 2008
  • Summary: My main goal in a home theater system was having wireless back speakers. I tried the Panasonic system which worked very well, but it just did not have enough input options and I found that I quickly ran out. So I returned it and purchased this unit along with a Rocketfish wireless spreaker adapter.
