Excerpt: I was disappointed with my choice of purchasing a 300W unit. The overall sound level isn't good for a medium to large room and there weren't enough input / output ports for my needs. I returned the unit for a 1000W system and am very pleased with it.
Summary: This system is best used in a small room, the reason I say this is because the bass is a little on the low side. The real issue is that I ordered this new and I got a refurbished model with scratching and poor packaging. Thankfully I had bought a Squaretrade 3 year warranty, so I will be covered.

The television speakers are louder than the receiver. I connected an older Phillips receiver system and it works much better.

Summary: I just dont get it, WHY are you not able to just hook it to your tv, and play your video game console via surround as well. Instead i have to get a RCA cable, and even if i do get it working it wont be at peak performance?
