Summary: 16+ years, still going strong!. Paid 40$ for it years ago.. It was like new, then, and still is now, these units look timeless!. I have it set up via HDMI From computer to TV, then Audio out from TV to "Input in on AV unit" Sounds amazing, what i did is use copper wire, & wire the rear and front...
Summary: The thought of buying a dvd player with digital funtions had been haunting me for sometime. I looked into various models of dvds in the town but nothing to satisfy me. Then one day I saw this sleek dvd palyer with funtions that was more than one could anticipate according to its size.
Summary: I really enjoy this thing. It's small, simple to install, easy to use, even my girlfriend could figure it out! The DTS sound is awesome! True it would be nice to hook up a tape deck, but really who has that anymore..
Summary: I bought this system or one just like almost ten years ago and still works great. I plan to buy a new system in the next few years and keep this one in the bed room as an extra one. The only thing I can say bad about this system is after 10 years the remote is wearing out.
Summary: I picked this up at a garage sale for $15. What can I say, I am more than happy with it, I'm blown away by it! For a unit that was made in 1998 I can't believe how new it feels. The sound, the hardware, and the user interface are all top notch.

Summary: ... I love this system! I am totally impressed with the sound it can produce. I have my system in a large, open space, and it has NO trouble filling the area with powerful sound. The surround sound and DTS 5.1 are terrific; I watched Air Force One as soon as I had it hooked up.
Summary: I am sure there are better systems out there ... for much more money. This system is installed in a 20 * 18 den, and fills the room with great sound. When you play a 5.1 DVD, the sound is incredible ! Easy to install, and very user friendly.
Summary: I just want to let all of you know that the DAV-S300 is an awesome deal. I have had it for 3-4 months now, and I love it. The sound is awesome, even though the total output may be 120 watts, it is more than enough, trust me on this.
Summary: I was in the market for a DVD/Stereo system, but didn't know what to get. I did alot of online research as well. I ended up coming down to three products, the panasonic equivalent and also the SAVA-900.
