Cohesive Sound; Minus for Lack of Inputs

J. Wei "Aoshi chan X", Amazon
6 July 2013
  • Summary: I've had this set since 2005. So now, in 2013, the only useful input is SAT, which is this unit's only Optical Input. But yet I stick by the DAV-LF1. Great HTS - but not really wireless

Kimmy, Amazon
13 March 2006
  • Summary: First, It is the best HTS I have heard in long time. It is super sleek. Easy hook up. The DVD/CD player has the best design with touch screen controls and cool blue lights. The remote control receiver is in the center speaker - so it doesn't matter where you put the DVD/CD player.

sony dav lf1 home cinema system

valeriel, Ciao
12 January 2005
  • Excerpt: I purchased this system to add to my plasma, wanting to cut down on wires and bulk. The rear speakers are wireless to the front but must connect to each other , which I feel is a minus point. All the connections are made on the sub-woofer / amplifier, which keeps everything neat.
  • Pros: very sleek and stylish, easy to use and great quality sound
  • Cons: rather expensive and wireless rear speakers are not really wireless
