Summary: I bought this baby last week for my new home. As usual i got the issue of S Air. I initially bought a Dynex HDMI from Best Buy for $30. i was using to pair up with that. It did not work. Here are the most issues that everyone get. 1)I called technical support and they asked me to try with the s-video cable that they sent me. It worked, but not an awesome video not a good audio. So i was not happy 2) i then tried setting the pixel to 480p with HDMI.
Summary: Sony has done it again I cannot believe the range of sound these litte guys put out. I tried Lord of the Rings Mothership (Led Zepp Live) and older movie like Gumball Rally all had sounds I had nver heard before. The hooking up of (pairing) wirless speakers was a breeze. I want to thank the idiots who's reviews made this seem like an issue, you cost me an extra 300.00, it was so simple just turn on.
Summary: I think I found a solution. So far it has worked for me. Instead of wrapping the HDMI with foil, I wrapped the EZWT100 card on the reciever. Cover half of it, just enought to cover it when plugged into the receiver. Also my HDMI cable are free from foil wrapping. The wireless back speakers are roughly 8 ft away and I get crystal clear sound from them. This has been working so far. Give this a try and see if this works for you. [...
Summary: Thought of buying a new home theatre to replace my old onkyo HT, had plans of buying BOSE V20,but saw this HT online and was impressed by the golf speakers , so thought would give it a try. The feedbacks from customers that the rear speakers are not working well (some problem with pairing S- Air) made me think twice but eventually bought this product.
Summary: I just bought this and was amazed of the great sound quality that comes out of dollar-sized speakers. If I did not have an excellent home theater system already, I would get another one. It's not better than my main system which costs ten times more, but for the money it's hard to beat. It's easy on the eyes. Unless you are a die-hard hi-fi person you will love this. Buy and enjoy!
Great product - S-Air was a bit finiky, but only because I went cheap on ONE HDMI cable

Summary: I've had the Sony BDVIS1000 for a few weeks now-- Before purchasing I read the reviews on this system and was a bit hesitant about purchasing based on the S-air connectivity problems, but really wanted the small footprint & sound from this extra small HTIB system. I'm thrilled I did, because I couldn't be more pleased with the look, functionality and sound produced by such a small system. DVDs look great, the on screen display is easy to use, and setup is.
Summary: Like most here mentioned, linking rear speakers was an challenge until I called my friend Mark, who ordered some better HDMI cables and intensely read the manual. Now we're very, very, very, pleased. Wow!
Summary: Works great - once you set it up - out of the box settings will do the trick. Very full sound for such tiny speakers, with just a touch of directionality from the mid-range in the subwoofer. Most important, use high quality HDMI cable (Version 1.3b Cat 2), if not, the interference will prevent the wireless from acquiring - also helps to wrap the HDMI and calibration mike connector in tinfoil.
