Summary: No offense to those who gave this system a favorable sound review, but you have to be deaf in one ear to miss the shortcomings with these tiny TINNY speakers. Look closely at all the pictures, the one that shows them almost as tall as the main unit is photo-shopped.
Summary: I've owned this product for about 6-months.This thing was a nightmare to set up.I've setup dozens of stereo & audio video systems for friends & family. This thing took over 3 hours on 2 two different nights , until i called tech support on the 3rd night the rear speakers would not pair up.
If I had to do it over again, I would NOT have purchased this item

Summary: For the price paid, and the quality of sound, I would have purchased something with better sound quality. This product is below average in terms of output and quality. I expected a lot more than what I really got.
Summary: When I hooked this system to a new television- Sony brand - the rear speakers would not pair. I've given up! I've read all the reviews and tried foil on all the cables, have a shielded HDMI cable, turned off every freakin' wireless item in the house, and still no luck. Just don't know what to do.
Summary: I had an '02 Pioneer home theater that gave me great "surround sound", Sony's $700+ system is, so far, much inferior! Maybe I'm technically stupid? System set on Dolby Pro-Logic II, surround on and "auto-calibrated", DISH HD satellite set on Dolby.
Summary: Unit arrived intact and as advertised. I installed everything according to the directions, but couldn't get the wireless rear speakers to work. After about five hours of trying over two days, I gave up and returned the unit. Amazon accepted the return and even paid the return shipping.
Summary: My sole complaint is that the rear speakers do not work. When the rear speakers would not pair, we got on the phone with Sony support. After a couple of hours it was determined that Sony would send us a signal boosting cable (sony part# EZW-EC10).
