Good Picture Quality, but Crappy Netflix Streaming

Summary: First and last Sony product I'll ever buy. The Blu Ray Player works fine and I have no complaints with that. However, this system's inability to stream Netflix is extremely aggravating. I have to buy Roku or some other device to stream movies on my tv, because this one buffers constantly. Some days it's works with no issues, but most of the time it stops and starts and takes the entire fun out of movie watching. I'll be sticking with Samsung from now on.
Summary: I've had this theater system for several years now and bought it from WallyMart. At first when I bought it I was looking for the best bang for the buck all in one system and well was drawn in by trusting Sony for Blu-ray and speaker reputation. I can't lie the wireless concept caught my eye but was soon let down once I realized the back speakers weren't wireless at all and still needed to be pluged into the wireless transporter.
Summary: Great System, Internet features excellent (pandora). only issue was had to purchase 4 speaker stands for front and rear for small speakers. Also purchased 2 AIR wireless speakers that work 200 ft and outside in my garage. sweet to have pandora anywhere with this system.
Summary: Sony Has Taken Back My Vote For Best Out Of Box Home Theater. Im Very Impressed By The Sound This System Puts Out. The Small Woofer I Was Woried About Due To Its Size But It Speaks Loud And Clear When A Bomb Goes Off In A Movie Or A Deep Punch From A Drum Solo On YouTube. Not Impressed With Its Wifi Adapter (Low Signal All The Time Results In A Lot Of Buffering). With The Cordless Rear Speakers It Made The Whole System Come To Life.
Summary: Bought this system in March 2011 and as of today it is functioning flawlessly. I can relate to those who think it is not powerful, but keep in mind what you are paying for the entire set. If you buy each component separate (subwoofer, receiver, speakers, blu-ray, etc.) you will spend three times as much. I ended up installing in-cealing speakers after a couple of months for the rear and I admit it sounds much better.
Summary: I did a lot of research, looking into different Bluray players for my husband's birthday. We have been wanting to convert from DVD for awhile. The surround system is excellent and the wireless aspect of the system was easy to assemble. The overall assembly and set up of the system took about an hour, but it was amazingly frustration free. The sound quality is excellent, as is the picture quality.
Summary: Great surround system that looks and sounds very decent. Its not powerful enough to fill a discotheque, but iuts MORE than enough for any movie, music or even Karaoke singing... The Wireless rear speakers do actually have wires, but a seperate receiver which allows to intall and hide the surround speaker cabless very well. I am very happy with the purchase.
great product, seller description was accurate and delivery was quick.

Summary: First plugged it in and it worked great until I switched it to the T.V. Function then got a purple screen. Decided to try installing the updates and after updates it worked perfect. Excellent product and well worth the money.
Summary: So I took a chance on Sony, what used to be a great brand, has for the last decade become just another average electronics company. This system was great while it lasted, but only a year and a half into ownership the Blu Ray player has quit working and Sony wants $150 plus shipping to repair it, no thanks. Honestly we didn't even use the Blu Ray player that much, mostly because we have far more DVD's, plus direct online movies.
