Summary: I bought a Samsung PN43E450 Plasma TV for my Mom. She's hard of hearing and the sounds from the speakers in the back of the TV were difficult for her to understand, probably because they had to bounce off the back of the TV cabinet before they got to her. To get better sound that came to her directly, I purchased a Sharp HT-SB200 Sound Bar. When I connected the red and white RCA cable to the red and white outlets on the sound bar and TV, there was no sound.
Summary: Great alternative to a bulky speaker system. Sounds awesome and is a huge inprovement to the crappy Aquus speakers that have always emitted a vibration that everyone who buys one knows about yet Sharp denies. This is a great fix/upgrade to the origial TV speakers. Looks great, installs easy and has a tiny remote which I love. Buy it.
Summary: Just got my sharp sound bar setup was a breeze .The soundbar dramatically improved the sound of my tv . The sound iis perfect for a small living room like mine. Te reason i gave it 4 stars was its not like its on the level of a bose or a 7.1 surround sound but for a small room yes . Iam really pleased with this product.
Summary: I am really enjoying this product. It arrived double-boxed in a "Sharp refurbished" box with lots of cushioning and all of the original accessories. This includes the nifty remote that can control a Sharp TV. I am using the wee remote on an everyday basis now and have set aside the TV's original remote (except for times I want to tinker with menu settings).
Summary: I am very impressed with sound quality of the soundbar. I paired it with a new 32" LED flatscreen. Great TV, but crappy sound. This soundbar makes the "package" complete. I liked it so much I bought a second one!
Summary: I bought this for the TV in my room. It does seem to cut out every now and then, but apparently that's an energy saver feature. It does sound pretty good though. Don't expect great sound quality, but it definitely made my TV louder.
