Summary: Okay, one star as I expect things to last for more than under two years, call me old-fashioned. Very happy with this until one day, for no reason (sound not set too high or shared plug etc and it's not the fuse) - nothing. Red light flashes for about 1s and then dead. Sharp 'help'desk say "our products only come with a one year warranty" - which shows the power of jazzy advertising I suppose - so that's a £60-a-year rental then! Buy another brand.
Summary: Sound is decent and setup is ultra easy, but there are two main drawbacks. First, the unit has no power on button so when you turn your television on you wait quite sometime before the audio comes on. Second, if the audio of the program your watching goes quiet, the unit will turn off quickly and then come on again when the sound comes back (but only after waiting 20 seconds).
Summary: Bought this unit for my 70in Sharp. The sound is muffled and there is no adjustments. It grays out the TV's sound adjustment so you cant adjust it in any way. I am very disappointed in this sound bar and returned it.
Summary: thought I would pick up an inexpensive sound bar for my LG 47LW5600 I tried everything finally got speakers working using headphone jack... then 10 minutes later, the sound shutoff and red light came up on subwoofer. I returned out to the store.

Summary: save yourself time and trouble. #1 it does not say in the instructions you have to use HDMI port #1 on a TV with HDMI ver 1.4 in the instructions. After a lot of time figuring that out I got it to work. The sound quality is worse than the TV. I waited to long to return it but rescued it buy using a couple of old stereo speakers hooked up to the powered sub.
