Good not great engineering, they really need to work on ease of use.
concerned buyer, Amazon

Summary: Hi there, I am a software engineer by trade so can get right into the mix of technical things. After reading many other reviews on this site and others I decided to purchase this for 1 reason - so that I could put all sound from the TV to the soundbar. I did get there eventually but not without spending a couple hours with sharp support. It is a well engineered sound bar, but it was poorly product managed.
Summary: I consider myself to be a careful consumer. I read both the positive and negative reviews of an item, evaluate how they might apply to me and then such the internet for additional sources. With this item I found a common issue which is the sound bar stops producing sound or just doesn't turn on anymore. Now, looking at the dates of the other reviews I figured that the problem might have been solved and went ahead and bought it.
Summary: The sub woofer paired according to the blue led light but no sub woofer response. Called Sharp and the tech team was to call me back after the initial basic questions. No one called. Called again a week later and they sent me FedEx return label for repair.
Summary: As usual, Amazon performed great. Order and shipping was outstanding. However, I am disillusioned with the HT-60 sound box. This item was purchased because the speakers on my Sharp 60" LED HDTV needed some serious help. The set up instructions are literally non-existent, just a piece of folded paper that is somewhat hard to follow.
Summary: The sound is ok, not great just ok. But the price is really good. My problem with it comes after it been used then turned off, somehow it does not play any audio from the HDMI, until I do a reset (switching it to standby, and pressing the standby and sound mode together. This glitch seems to be happening quite frequently.
