  • Summary: Would not recommend this product. Have received two now and have to send the second one back. Should have realized something would be wrong when they had refurbished systems and Sears had quit selling them too. Will have to send the second one back too but Sharp has not called us back yet. Each system had different problems.

Abruptly Failed - Sharp's Warranty Service is Poor - Big Waste of Money - Avoid this one.

  • Summary: Abruptly failed after 5 months of Operation. Called Sharp tech support, ran through a few trivial troubleshooting steps, and was advised to send to their repair facility at our expense. Mind you, this is a 5' long soundbar AND separate subwoofer unit (which is apparently worked but Sharp insists it has to be sent back too.

Do not buy

  • Summary: While this sound bar can sound good, it is standard Sharp quality which means it is garbage unless you buy a version 3 of it. My soundbar (purchased 6/2013) had a high pitched whine from it when no sound was coming out of it and it would lose HDMI CEC sync with my Sharp LCD TV after a few days uses. Really, they do not test it with their own products? This is a par for the course to how Sharp operates.

  • Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. I BOUGHT THIS IN JANUARY AND IN AUGUST IT STOPPED WORKING. I COULD NOT GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THE COMPANY AND I SEE THIS ITEM HAS ALOT OF PROBLEM. ALL OF A SUDDEN IT STOPPED WORKING. BAD PRODUCT AND BAD SERVICE BY SHARP.

Worked for only 5 days!!

  • Summary: My husband and I bought the Sharp sound bar to go with our Sharp television. Once we set it up it worked great for a couple of days. The sound was amazing! By the third day it started shutting itself off on its own while we were watching t.v. On day 5 it wouldn't power on anymore. My husband and I tried everything to see maybe a wire went loose or something but everything was fine it just simply stopped working.

  • Summary: Do NOT buy this unit... Worked for six months and then came home from work and wouldn't turn on showing a error sign. Sharp won't warranty without original box... They won't touch it and all reviews when you google it show there are many people with this error message and they are all out money as Sharp has horrible products and customer service... Never again!!
