Summary: I start with Cons because Im a lawyer and tend to look at things critically first: Cons: I had just mounted a tv so was excited to mount the soundbar, however, no screws for the mount was an annoyance. Especially when you pay $250 and its competitors are priced lower. 2nd, using a third remote for volume only, stinks. 3rd, because my soundbar is mounted I can only barely read the display.
Summary: The sound is amazing. Very clear and rich. The wireless sub-woofer works perfectly. 3D Sound has a low and high setting, and so far, the low produces a very realistic effect. It also looks very stylish (although the speakers are exposed). Have the bar only turned to about 25% volume, which is very loud (certainly compared to the TV turned to 90%). All-in-all, I would highly recommend this product to any considering it.
Summary: I have a big open room but not good for cords, so this is a great option for the price. There are a bunch of sound settings like cinema/game/music etc, and great features like 3D sound, Smart Volume, and an equalizer that normalizes the extreme loud and soft volumes. Honestly I've had the best sound for movies by turning off 3D and Smart Volume (the volume "bounces" with these features, and just using the normal "Pass" setting, turning up the bass and using the...
Summary: I have been in market for a soundbar for past 2 months.I had Yamaha Receiver and polk speakers which needs replaced by a soundbar to cut the clutter. As i already had true surround system,i will compare on various brand i have experience with before settling down to two major brands. Note:All below comparision is at low volume. At high volume (Cant be used except testing)all below perform well.
Summary: I just bought a 46'LED C6500 Samsung TV(Smart, anynet) ,along with a blue ray Bd-c6500(wifi,anynet)Although my speaker on the TV were fine i needed an extra sound boost. So i wanted everything to be compatible. I bought this soundbar (last one) for the price ,very cheap at the local Big name electronic store.
Summary: We have a 50" Samsung plasma, set on a table (not wall-mounted) so the sound has never been a problem but we always wanted a bit more sophisticated sound in the room. We have a full home-theatre setup downstairs but didn't want to put all that in our main family room where the Samsung is. I waited and waited for the soundbars to get better and come down in price, and finally bought this one. Very happy!
Summary: Awesome sound! Will not take the place of a 5.1 system but I didn't buy it for that. It's compact and sounds great without a receiver and all those speakers necessary with a 5.1 system. I plan on getting another one for the bedroom. Could use a little more bass out of the subwoofer though. Great product overall.
Summary: I bought the HW-D450 (2011 model) from Amazon. Connecting it was a breeze. Synching the remote to the tv is what makes this system work for me. I'm using it with a Vizio HDTV and a cable box. I love the fact that the subwoofer is wireless; all I had to do was plug it into an outlet, and I was good to go. There's only one problem, and that may have to do with the cost of the system: I hardly get any bass out of the subwoofer.
Summary: Bought this to accompany my Samsung 46". Great quality for the price. Nice, crisp sound. I like how it turns on when I turn on the television, but it won't turn off when the TV turns off. Not sure if I'm missing a setting or it just doesn't do it. It looks really nice and is a great addition mounted below the TV on the wall. For someone looking to upgrade their sound but does not need 5 speakers, this is a great find. *Update 1/20/13: Soundbar still works like new.
