Summary: I was excited to get this soundbar to replace my Vizio VSB200 (which I loved.) install was easy although pairing with the sub took a few tries. The sound was good and I felt the bass was adequate albeit I'm not an audiophile. I mainly watch programming with a lot of dialogue and did find it was harder to hear then on my Vizio and found myself always playing with the 3D sound setting and tuening the bass down however I felt with time I would be happy with it.
Summary: the sound bar works fine and is loud but there is no controls for base, trebble etc. the wireless wolfer is very low to where it appears it is not on and you cannot control the volumn on it. the system turned out to be just a louder speaker system and very little surround sound effect.
Summary: I was really looking forward to adding some oomph to my Samsung LCD's TV speakers with this sound bar(especially since i thought being of the same manufacturer would help!). Uh, nope, not really. I liked the idea of trying to get away without running lots of wires around to various speakers in order to get a fuller sound also with deeper bass.
Summary: I got this for our living room so that there weren't wires everywhere. It does a pretty good job, but at least a couple of times per viewing session it's like the bass or any sort of depth just drops and the sound becomes very hollow for 5 seconds. Then it goes back to sounding nice. It's annoying, but I'm too lazy to return it so it is what it is.
Summary: I agree with many of the reviews - definitely not a "super" sound system, but miles ahead of the TV speakers. NOTE: the cable that comes with the system is not a great one - we bought a Monster optical cable and the difference is amazing - definitely test with a good cable before deciding on the sound quality. We weren't able to connect with our remote like others. For the price you get easy set-up and quite good sound, but don't expect a true home theatre experience.
Summary: After researching for a TV soundbar (after finding that my new TV had horrible built-in sound), I decided on the HW-D450. Hooking up the system went flawless and was a fairly easy process. Once I turned it on for the first time, I realized that the wireless bass unit needed to be turned up all the way. (+6) It sounds OK, but I was hoping for a little more punch at lower sound levels.
Summary: The audio sound bar is a nice, attractive, addition to the TV. In the 3D mode it put's out a great sound that is almost as good as being there. The regular sounds are a little better than the TV but not a whole lot and the woofer doesn't knock you off your seat but it does add to the sound quality. All in all, I'm satisfied.
