Summary: I bought this to replace a Sony HT-CT150 sound bar that I have been using for my living room setup. I do have to admit that that I miss the 3.1 channel that the Sony offered but I was having too many problems with volume fluxuations and felt I needed a better solution.
Summary: I have had good experiences with the Samsung brand in the past other than the reliability concern I have with this unit it hasn't disappointed me.
Pros: Easy to set up and install the system, I took the wall mount and nailed it into my TV stand since I didn't want to put holes in my wall. It replaced the tiny speakers on my visio LCD pretty seamlessly and has an attractive modern finish. Puts out clear digital sound and acceptable volume. I had c...
Cons: I had to RMA the unit after a month, apparently a short developed in the circuitry inside the speaker bar. It was returned to me promptly and without complaint but I had to add another $50 to the purchase price. Hopefully this is a fluke and other people don't suffer the same problem.
Summary: This is a great sounding unit. I compared this to several other sound bars, including the Sony HT-CT350 and thought this was a far richer, full- bodied sound than the others offered, even though we have this in a large family room with an open floor plan.
Summary: My wife and I wanted to get better sound from our movies/games but didn't want to bug the neighbors in our apartment complex. This sound bar is a perfect choice. It is simple to set up, plug in the sub, the sound bar, and connect the digital optical audio cord from the sound bar to the tv.
Summary: The new generation of flat screens are great; the best picture ever. The sound however has gotten as small and thin as the new panels themselves. The soundbar goes a long way to bringing back the days of having a good picture and good sound.
Summary: I purchased this soundbar for my Samsung LN46B550 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color . The TV is mounted above the fireplace in my family room, and the soundbar is located just below it. These speakers are awesome!
Summary: Pros - Good sound quality - Turns out automatically (Samsung TV) - Small enough to sit in front of TV without looking ugly or getting in way of picture - Subwoofer is wireless, making it easy to stash out of sight Cons (all fairly minor) - Can't easily see what sound type (Sports, Cinema, etc.
Summary: I've had this for several weeks now. The sound selections (e.g., cinema, news) provide preset EQ and reverb and the subwoofer is has its own volumne control. It's quite nice! My only complaint is the subwoofer frequency interferes with WiFi. I have Netflix (via my PS3) streaming to the TV.
Summary: We purchased this sound bar to make up for the lack of good sound coming from our PN58B860 Samsung Plasma. The speakers in the TV sound tiny and are not really good at all. We took a chance buying the Samsung sound bar to enhance the TV sound while not always running our home theater setup.
Summary: I did a good amount of research for my 65 in plasma in my man cave. After It was shipped I unpacked it and had everything working in about 20 minutes. The sound is good and It really has good bass.
