Have shipped unit into repair twice because DVD player quit working. Worked out of the box new for only two months. After being repaired it worked less than one month before failing again in the exact same way. Still waiting for its return, hopefully Samsung repairs it right this 2nd time around. With no local repair available, and at $29 to ship into repair, the 3rd repair, if necessary, will exceed the value of the unit as I currently consider it. Read more

This is a great system for the $200 price tag. I've had the system for nearly a month, so can't speak on reliability, but the sound that comes from this system is exceptional for the price tag. If you're someone who likes to keep the mess of wires in your home entertainment system hidden, there is an optional wireless add-on pack you can purchase for an additional $100. The added iPod dock is limited in functionality, but overall gets the job done for someone who only... Read more

This system works ok for a while, but we had it break twice in about a year. The first time, we sent it back to the manufacturer for repair(under warranty). Now, it won't recognize DVDs. If it had enough inputs, I could work around the problem. Unfortunately, it has the bare minimum. I only gave it two stars because it did actually work for a while and when it did, it was pretty good. Read more
