  • Summary: It looks fantasic and matches my 46" Samsung LCD's sleak look. However, the sound bar is not powerful enough to fill a decent size room. I tried configuring it many different ways as suggested by others, but nothing would fix the issues with the subwoofer cutting in and out, especially when watching regular TV. I took the unit back to Best Buy and got a refund. I ended up ordering the Samsung HT-BD8200 sound bar/blu-ray player combo.

Most negatives in these reviews are accurate

  • Summary: I bought this as a potential remedy for the awful sound from the speakers on the 46" Samsung LED TV -- you really can't make out what people are saying no matter the setting or volume. The sound bar is pretty much the same. Audiophiles will be extremely disappointed by the sound quality and volume. If you consider yourself a discerning listener, DO NOT purchase this item. A cheap system for a desktop computer would be superior.

Really bad product

  • Summary: Bought this a couple of days ago at Best Buy to go along with my new Samsung 46" LED (awesome!). The soundbar unit sucks. I've spent three days trying to get a decent sound out of it, and am returning it to Best Buy this afternoon. 1) The bass, when it's not cutting out (yes, mine cuts in and out just like all the other reviewers), drowns out everything else. As it's cutting in and out and completely overwhelming the other frequencies, it makes most shows unwatchable.

My 1982 Walkman Has More Wattage!!

  • Summary: I did not have the smoke and other technical issues that other reviewers had, but I can say that I returned this baby within one week of purchasing it from Best Buy because even at full blast it was pathetic. I believe this is 150 watts (which is not a lot to begin with) but it sounded more like 10. I returned it because at $400 I expect it to be able to drown out my TV speakers, not the other way around. Plus, it also seemed like the bass only kicked in occasionally.

Average Soundbar

  • Summary: I just bought this soundbar on Amazon to pair with my new LED Luxia Samsung TV. It's better than the TV speakers but has 1 issue that is really bugging me. Its wireless sub woofer keeps cutting in & out for no obvious reason. VERY IRRITATING. I tried pairing it again with its base and it stopped doing it for now, but if it ever happens again I will have to return it.
