Summary: About 60 days in all video apps all started freezing where I had to turn the player off in order to restart. Switching between inputs was also becoming unresponsive. Everything else was great but having to connect the laptop to the it to watch Netflix was getting old.
Summary: Pure Crap 2nd Samsung HT Theater System..This is a negative Star. 2nd Samsung Surround system, 1st was the $300 one and it keed shutting down after a bout 5 to 10 mins. Returned.. 2nd try was the Samsung HT-F6500W 5.1 this on was much better, after 2 month of usage, started to sound bad. Third 3 month I just now tried the Blue Ray the sound is so crappy cant under stand Movie or even get 2 mins into it. TV sound is Very Bad, not worth even turning on.
Summary: The sound constantly cuts out. Samsung's customer service is terrible. Samsung has only attempts to fix the same problem over and over....I've called about the sound cutting out 3 times now. On my fourth customer service call I insisted they repair the unit. They told me i have to pay for shipping!! I can't believe how bad Samsung's customer service is...Horrible!
Summary: Mother board issues according to Samsung. cant download problems with application downloads Contacted Samsung three days after purchase then a week later they cant figure it out. Then they are going to tell me to ship it for repairs. cant be serious how the )))))) you ship a new item in for repairs a week after xmas girft. ? wont purchase Samsung again. Bose will be my next purchase.
Weak performer, over-priced with a pitiful bass woofer and center channel speakers

Summary: It would be ok for an apartment but it's weak for a home. We replaced the pitiful Samsung passive bass woofer with a Pioneer active bass woofer ($99) and the front center speaker with a decent one ($89) instead of the poor one they packaged into the original design, and now it is acceptable for a home surround sound. I cannot recommend the product as originally shipped to us.
Summary: Waste of money loud cracking noise from front left channel plus intermittent sound, Samsung advised a reset which I did and asked me to try it , I was concerned that the unit was 11 months old, and near end of warranty . The unit is now 12 months and 8 days old and has started to make the same noise again. Samsung now say sorry we can't help it's out of warranty. I will never buy samsung again!! Service, what service!
