Summary: To start, I gave this product 3 stars because it has some great features, but needs improvement. It lacks a few features I thought to be important along with some features just not working. This was bought as a replacement surround system for a speaker system I already had set up but did not have a receiver for. Please note: I can not rate the 3D features of this product as I do not have a 3D TV.
Summary: I really liked the system at first. Great picture, even with Netflix. Love Pandora on it, and the features are great. We've had this for about a month and besides the occasional freeze up when netflix is paused it's been good. Today I tried playing a Disney Blu ray on it, got 10 seconds in and it froze up. I thought wow we got a defective Disc, so I tried another Disney blu ray, same exact thing. I have all the latest firmware installed, and still won't play.
Summary: I am a current owner of the HT-C6900W and completely satisfied with the system. My review of the 6900W is available here on Amazon and everything I stated there still remains the same. Never had an issue with performance or reliability for over two years of use. It just sounds great (for an HTIB) and works without a hiccup. I recently relocated to a second home and purchased the E5500W for it.
Summary: Bought this item in September 2012. Got a great deal from Amazon and no problems. Its a decent unit for an all in the box kind of deal. The front speakers are decent but the rear speakers are pretty worthless. Keep in mind that when you buy this a good part of your money is going toward the Blu-Ray/3D player so of course the speakers are going to be on the cheaper side. Was able to plug my Samsung tv into this and they worked together nicely.
Summary: This has been really frustrating, because I was really liking my Samsung home theater system until a few weeks ago. Suddenly, Netflix would not stream video. I could open the app, click on a movie, the movie would open, I'd click "play" and then the message "we cannot play this title right now, please choose another or try again later". Unfortunately, I tried a ton of different titles and I always got the same message.
Why can't it remember a default preference for input?

Summary: The system is ok, but I have one complaint. Every time I turn on the system I have to click the Input Source button three times to select HDMI-1 (where my Uverse DVR is connected) to be able to watch TV. Couldn't it just power up with the last input selected as the default? That would make it much more convenient.
Summary: I have some criticisms that probably shouldn't affect the score. Those are these: 1, why is it when I buy a mid priced home theater 3D blu ray system from a leading brand can it not come with an HDMI cord? Would've have been nice to be able to set everything up right out of the box. But I asked around and apparently none of them do, so I digress. Also, this system has ipod/iphone integration. Which is super cool. But I own a Samsung Galaxy.
Summary: I know that you get what you pay with such items, and my budget was limited, so for the money, I got a home cinema system that sounds OK (if a little on the bassy side, which I have toned down a bit in the setup) but provides all the bits I need: Blueray, surround sound, iPod dock and integrated with my Samsung TV. The reason for 3 stars is around the absolute sound quality. If I were marking it for relative sound quality, i.e.
Summary: very noisy, all apps on it are veeeery slow. if i had a chance to try it will never had bought it.it doesn't detect the hdmi connections automatically so have to manually switch through them. the rear speakers are wifi compatible but you need to purchase the adaptor-bad. not even one hdmi cable included- veeery bad.
