Summary: I bought this last October. In May, it broke down I sent it in to the manufacturer to fix it and they sent it back all scratched up. It broke down AGAIN now that the warranty ran out, I wasted my money. The picture and sound quality isn't as good as advertised.
Summary: We bought this against our better judgement. We read the reviews and saw this did have issues but tried it anyways because of the dimensions fitting into our in Wall Entertainment Unit. The first system we got the main unit had major issues, freezing, skipping and not opening.
Summary: We bought a Samsung Blue Ray Home Theater last Fall and loved it. A couple of weeks ago, there was a bad storm and a power surge killed the Blue Ray player so we bought another one to replace it.
Summary: This systems sub woofer is a joke. My 7 year old Philips system for less than 200 blows this away. If its not defective I don't know what you people have been listening to all these years? 1970s TV. Sending it back!
Summary: Works ok. No iPod dock or WiFi. The remote is not well designed, with two tiny buttons for volume up/down, which are the two most used buttons... But the deciding factor to return the system was the poor sound quality. Tiny speakers and tinny sound.
Pros: Probably works fine if you only want to use surround for your blu-ray player.
Cons: The speaker cables are a proprietary format which only will connect directly to the Blu-Ray player. These speakers are not standard connections as you would expect to be able to connect to a receiver. I looked over both Neweggs site, and Samsungs site, and could not find information on either reg...
