Summary: Do not buy, I've had this for a year and a half and can tell you it is a rip off! After a year it slowly started going out, first it wouldn't play blu-rays any more, then it stopped connecting to the Internet, then a month later it stopped playing DVDs, and a week ago it powered itself off and never came back on again. Samsung told me it's not covered any more and it would cost more to repair than its worth. So it's a complete loss for me.
Summary: Do NOT buy this product. Mine lasted about a year and a half then it would not complete a firmware update rendering the product completely useless. Tech support was absolutely no help at all...I spent about an hour and half on the phone while they tried to figure out why their own website did not properly display the firmware file so I could download it since the update wasn't working over the wireless connection to my home network.
Summary: First I never recieved the Sub-Woofer or the instruction manual. Then I hooked up the player and it pixulates and freezes on all the CD-R movies and home movies. I'm sending it back, and hope to retrieve my money back.

Summary: Don't get this unit. Call the Manufacturer to be sure it meets your requirements. This unit only has one HDMI Input and doesn't have any HDMI outputs. Instead of this unit, I purchased the Samsung HT-D6500W and this one has 2 HDMI outputs which you'll need, it's Wireless and connects automatically to your Router and you can also connect to your computer and much more.

Summary: We got this home theater system completely set up and started watching a DVD and it seemed great... for about 10 minutes. It then abrubtly stopped and we could never get it to turn on for more than 30 seconds - hardly long enough to even read the scrolling error message regarding "protect mode". We called their tech support line and learned that this message is usually displayed if the component is overheating.
Summary: Yes it is a great system yes it is a good price but if you are looking to stream pandora/NETFLIX... steer clear of this product. I have spent countless hours on client service with samnsun and with netflix. they both say no fix no eta. i bought this with the intent of streaming netflix expecting a plug and play.

Summary: I purchased the previous version of this exact system about 1 year ago. The system was nice while it worked. After about 20 uses of the blu-ray player, the player stopped reading discs. I phoned the technical support, but they said since I'm 14 months into ownership, that all they could do is refer me to a technician. I've only owned 2 Samsung products in my life (this, and an mp3 player), and both of them quit after the 1-year warranty period.
Summary: I am very disappointed with the sound of this system. I have to have the volume almost all the way up to hear it good. The surround sound is of poor quality as well. I have a 1 gig netgear wireless router and it still takes a good 10 minutes for the sound system to connect to Netflix.
