Summary: This stereo/dvd system is awful. It takes for ever to start and longer to load a movie. It doesn't have an equalizer function, just a few factory preset levels for the sound. The wireless speakers are not wireless, they are just on a remote receiver that still requires wires to the speakers from the receiver. It says it needs to do a software up date every time I turn it on.
Worse Blu Ray ever - Samguns TVs are good but I will never buy a Samsang blu ray for a long time

Summary: I have this one that is completely garbage and another newer model that is slightly better. This gives me no mode support found for no reason and the open and close button rarely ever works. Very frustrating when you sometimes have to spend 1 hour to get a DVD to just play.
Summary: Hi, Wanted to see if anyone else is facing this issue: my unit keeps "powercycling/rebooting". That is, once I plug it in, it turns on....2 seconds later, it turns off....then turns on again...and so on, until I unplug it. Anyone faced this issue and fixed it?
Summary: Well we had a problem with the volum when we first got the surround sound system, it would go up by it's self, well we sent it in for warrenty work and they ended up upgrading this to the new smart blue ray surround sound. If Samsung would not have done that we would have been very disappointed because we had to send it back twice.
Summary: This was my first (and last) Samsung purchase. I bought it based on the reviews of their TV's which look quite impressive in the store. While it's a fairly decent package one of my gripes is that only the very rear set of speakers is wireless and this is never clearly indicated in the description. The pair that go adjacent to your couch are still wired so you're going to have to run speaker wire. But that's not why I'm rating it one star.
Summary: This isn't the type of unit I would normally consider bc it's more than I would consider paying for HTIB. However, on clearance it was a wonderful find. I took my time unpacking and reading the manual. I was very excited and impressed by the features it offers. Unlike my Sony BDP-s560 Blu-ray player it connected / passed the handshake with my "old" Philips (Dec. 2006) 42" plasma TV via HDMI. No hiccups or hesitations there. The onscreen GUI is really a pleasure to use.
Summary: I searched all around for a home theater system that had the features I wanted at a price I could afford. This Samsung product at Amazon had all I hoped for at a price that rivaled all others I reviewed. I reviewed systems from $300 to $2500 and only the Samsung gave me the power I wanted, wireless remote speakers, blueray player, quality sound that filled the room, ease in setup and operation and a consumer review that was excelent.
Summary: I can't believe that I purchased this item after many month of educational research in regards HTIB and the very next day after I placed my order I was told by amazon that it was back-ordered. I don't even know if amazon placed the order with the fabricator. It is so frustrating.
Summary: i got this for special someone who had been wanting one forever... so i started my research and started with samsung since he has a samsung flatscreen... i looked, read, and compared to everything. i really got a great deal on this. it was cheaper than best buy, and it was available! best buy was on back order for like 2-4 weeks... anyways... more about the product... very easy to set up... only 2 speakers are wireless... but that was ok...
