Summary: We received one of these as a replacement for our 1200 that Samsung could never fix. The sound isn't quite as good as the 1200 it replaced and this one had turned out to be troublesome as well.
Good if you want to spend additional money ( 200 plus )

Summary: Don't be fooled by the listings or ads. This unit IS NOT wireless. If that is what you want look else where. It is wireless capable but plan on another 125 plus for the accessories, and then only the rear speakers are wireless.
Summary: I just returned my system after 1 day of use. The console produced a crackling sound out of the left front speaker and within a couple minutes would turn off all sound while playing a Blu-Ray. This error was repeated using different speakers on the same signal.
Summary: It's a nice form factor, looks great, and would be just what I want if it would only work. I had to connect to the internet and let it upgrade itself before it would even play DVDs. I could select chapters in the menu, but not play them! It doesn't actually do half of what it is supposed to do.
Summary: Using Blu-ray DVD's we cannot yet really enjoy the sound from this system. Everything tends to sound very booomy, even with sub-woofer 'socked' and set down -6db in set-up. Action scenes and catastrophe stories get plenty of effects and good rear speaker background effects, but actual dialogue is...
Summary: My main use for this system was to replace my old hi-fi system which I ditched in 2005. I was not expecting brilliant hi-fi sound quality from the Samsung but I thought it would be adequate for playing music from my Sony MP3 player, CD's and MP3 discs.
Summary: From the above Amazon product specficiation: 'Enjoy internet content on your TV (including BBC iPlayer)' But there is no iPlayer on the box, and when you call Samsung customer support in the UK 0845-SAMSUNG they will tell you that it is 'coming soon'.
