Summary: This device promises a lot but delivers very little. It was one of the worst possible ways to spend $250. Stay away from Samsung Home Theater devices until they fix the buggy, awful interface software
Summary: We've owned this for less than a year and it now powers itself on and off repeatedly and doing the 'reset' doesn't seem to help. Sound quality is good, and the samsung apps are nice, but i'd give up other features if it would just WORK.
Summary: Shame on Samsung for ruining its own reputation with this piece of junk. We own 2 Samsung flat screens, a Samsung washing machine, and over the years have had several cell phones with nary a problem; in fact, we have been quite pleased with the quality which is why we opted for a Samsung when it came tmie to buy a home theater. I would like to give it 2 stars because the truth is that it has great sound and clarity...but in every other way it's lousy.
Summary: I should have read the many reviews talking about this problem but because it looked like an amazing theater system for a good price and samsung behind, I bought it. What a mistake! After one hour of use, the system start to shut off on loop. The customer service was very nice but it seems they know how defective this product is.
Summary: I have a Samsung Plasma TV and a Samsung BLUray so I thought this would be as good as those 2 but I was wrong, it keeps resetting itself and every time you call samsung you have to dig out your serial number because they don't keep it with your online registration, when the level 1 tech says they can't do it and send you to a level 2 tech your really going to another level 1 that wastes your time doing the same thing the first one did before they really send you to a...
When working properly, Great! Currently disappointed w/product replacement!

Summary: Received product on a timely manner, connected to my Samsung TV. The device recognized and was compatible with my TV. We like Pandora and set up through the system worked great. about 2 weeks later the my Samsung TV did not recognize the HDMI. therefore we had to do everything manually. Called company and they sent a return label, sent back and received another today. Disaster! The unit was sent damaged, not by UPS.
Summary: The sound and picture are adequate. I have no complaints about that. The remaining features (and customer service from Samsung) are horrendous. The system requires a separate device you must purchase to utilize wifi. It's $99 (and you can only use their device), which isn't that big of a deal considering the low cost of the system itself. However, herein lies the problem: The wifi doesn't work. I cannot get a connection to hold.
Summary: I'm referring to Samsung support as well as this product. I got one as a gift. Out of the box, it kept powering off & on every few seconds. The Samsung support chat people kept telling me to reset, reset, reset. Always came back to the same power off & on cycle as well as the remote ceasing to work. They told me that they were going to email me an RMA but no sign of it yet. I own several Samsung products currently. Never needed support.
Summary: While the sound from the speakers is quite good - the Blue Ray player itself is a piece of junk. Search functions don't work on the remote, open / close button doesn't work on the remote and rarely works on the player itself. The picture and sound get out of synch by up to two seconds, not correctable by an AV synch, and the only way to fix is to constantly rewind the disk. I have a much less expensive LG player that produces far more natural flowing images.
a company that does not stand behind their product

Summary: We bought Samsung's home theater system. It worked reasonably well for a very short while, before the receiver suffered a debilitating hardware fault. Samsung accepted that the unit was defective and repaired it. Eighteen months later, the issue rematerialized, but Samsung refused to re-correct it - irrespective of the fact that their repair job didn't last.
