Summary: Wow, what a piece of junk. The speakers don't sound bad at all. I like them. The unit though, is absolute garbage. The built in amp for the speakers blew after about 6-7 hours of use (not continuous use) The blu ray player rarely can play a brand new movie without turning it on and off 2-4 times...how annoying. Oh and also it will lock up during a movie and takes forever to try to get back to normal playback. Sometimes over 10 minutes, ruins the movie experience.
Summary: We've owned this for less than a year and it now powers itself on and off repeatedly and doing the 'reset' doesn't seem to help. Sound quality is good, and the samsung apps are nice, but i'd give up other features if it would just WORK.

Summary: Received product on a timely manner, connected to my Samsung TV. The device recognized and was compatible with my TV. We like Pandora and set up through the system worked great. about 2 weeks later the my Samsung TV did not recognize the HDMI. therefore we had to do everything manually. Called company and they sent a return label, sent back and received another today. Disaster! The unit was sent damaged, not by UPS.
Summary: I have a Samsung Plasma TV and a Samsung BLUray so I thought this would be as good as those 2 but I was wrong, it keeps resetting itself and every time you call samsung you have to dig out your serial number because they don't keep it with your online registration, when the level 1 tech says they can't do it and send you to a level 2 tech your really going to another level 1 that wastes your time doing the same thing the first one did before they really send you to a...
Summary: I'm referring to Samsung support as well as this product. I got one as a gift. Out of the box, it kept powering off & on every few seconds. The Samsung support chat people kept telling me to reset, reset, reset. Always came back to the same power off & on cycle as well as the remote ceasing to work. They told me that they were going to email me an RMA but no sign of it yet. I own several Samsung products currently. Never needed support.
Summary: The first time I received this abomination, I set it up, and with the excitement of a kid on Christmas, I plugged it in. It was at the point that the speakers started making a horrible sound and the receiver CAUGHT ON FIRE! I decided this must be a freak incident and decided I would do an exchange and give it another try. Well, luckily, the next one didn't try to burn my house down. It does, however, have the functionality of a mentally retarded chipmunk.
Summary: This product looked good - both spec and physically - and seemed to have received decent reviews, but had to go back when dodgy electronics made it behave with a mind of its own, or not at all.
Summary: We bought the player primarily for blu-ray, but also to replace an aging DVD surround system that we had. The internet TV fucntionality also looked great especial with the promise of love film and iPlayer. The 1st unit arrived, but the network port was dead. Samsung put their hands up and replaced the unit in a few days.
