Summary: I have been using the unit with not problem, all is working as expected. Good and clear sound and video quality as well. I purchased samsung because of good reviews and previous experiences with this brand.
Summary: This is the C series (2010) HTIB HT-C5500 I picked this up on clearance for $104. However the model I got had a few blemishes or issues like some pushed in cones but it doesn't affect the performance for what i use it for. I pair it with a LCD projector and have been using it as the Home theater sound sound for the outside movies and it has been truly an amazing experience. It's a drive in theater we created for ourselves and retain very high quality of sound.
Summary: We received one of these as a replacement for our 1200 that Samsung could never fix. The sound isn't quite as good as the 1200 it replaced and this one had turned out to be troublesome as well. The biggest issue is the lockup, usually while watching Netflix but thats just because we use Netflix the most. It might run 5 minutes then freeze or three shows and then freeze up. Once it does you have to power off and back on to get it going again.
Summary: This device promises a lot but delivers very little. It was one of the worst possible ways to spend $250. Stay away from Samsung Home Theater devices until they fix the buggy, awful interface software
Summary: This was a great purchase, even after 2 years of use. I haven't even used all the features because of my 4-year-old son taking majority of my time. But, it does have its quirks just like other technology products. I am actually now looking to purchase the wireless receiver and get another couple of years out of this before I rig this bad boy up at my parent's house so that they can use this for another five years.
Should have been more forthcoming about the condition. live and learn

Summary: Just purchased the receiver part with the blu-ray player from this seller, not the whole system. Seller stated it was a floor model display. Unfortunately the top buttons on the receiver do not work. You have to use the remote to do anything. The system itself is a great product.
Summary: We've owned this for less than a year and it now powers itself on and off repeatedly and doing the 'reset' doesn't seem to help. Sound quality is good, and the samsung apps are nice, but i'd give up other features if it would just WORK.
