Summary: First off Samsung support is dismal. This quit working - had the dreaded "Loading" flashing on the display. Sent it in for repair $30 shipping $80 for the repair. Their packing for the return to me was a joke. Basically it was just rolling around in the box. About 45 days later same problem. Guess what, the repair was only warrantied for 30 days. They wouldn't budge on an extension.
Summary: This works really well with the Samsung TV I purchased with it. I like this device b/c it gives great sound, mounts to the wall with the included kit or sits on it's own stand, easy to set up, looks good uner the TV, plays dvds and blue ray really well. I replaced my surround sound system with this and I'm happy. The only problem is that it doesn't remember discs when you take them out and put them back in.
Summary: Purchased this item in April 2010, and the Blu-Ray Player stopped playing (just after warranty expired). Rather than get this fixed, I purchased a diffent Blu-Ray player but still use the speakers from the sound bar. Like the sound bar but I would avoid purchasing a combo product in the future.
Summary: This was a big disappointment for us. We have had nothing but problems with it. The sound will randomly skip, the DVDs will get stuck, it will sporadically not connect to the Internet and the list of problems goes on... Not to mention customer service at Samsug is the worst... Stay clear of this item!!!!
Summary: Samsung HT-BD8200 Blu-Ray Sound Bar Home Theater System (Black) Blu-Ray player started acting up almost immediately after I bought it. One year later, the player no longer plays any type of disc properly. I can buy a replacement blu-ray player and use it just as an A/V, but the connections are insufficient. I don't think Samsung sells this new anymore - but don't buy it used!

Summary: Hi, HT bd-8200 problems: 1. doesn't wanted to ugrade the firmware , screen goes blank , wake up himself during the night a. first return to garanty get it back 1 month later with the same error worst the cable of the player was even outside the cache 2. since them didn't wanted to update himself even with the official wireless wifi key . 3.now can't read a blu ray entirely without blocking and tell disc coud not be played 4.
Summary: At first, I was leery about purchasing this thing as it got many bad reviews online. To boot, I picked up a refurbished model for about half the suggested retail asking price, so my anxiety worsened. Once I got this thing hooked up, it put all my fears to rest. The features on this thing are awesome, the fact that it's an all-in-one makes it even better.
Summary: After hook up and playing for under one min it stop working no need to say I was not happy so after going threw samsungs customer service they sent a shipping tag I was told 10 to 14 days for repairs so two weeks later it returned it has been a couple of days and things seem ok but I will vouch for other reviews I read about the ghost in the machine sure enough in the middle of the night I was awoke by my samsung player and tv turning on by them self and playing the menu...
Summary: It serves its purpose - good sound. If and when you do buy this - GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!! The internal fan motor runs quite often; furthermore, I've had mine for only 13 months and I've already had to send it back to get it replaced because it was grinding. It was in repair for over 3 months because the replacement fan motor was on back order. Thus, this is a huge consistent problem with this unit. It does have good features.
