Wireless speakers useless unless you pay $100 for their connection card

Summary: Samsung HT-E5400 5.1 Channel Smart 3D Blu-Ray Home Theater System I received this home theater system as a gift, so I can't complain about the price. But I was disappointed to find out the 2 surround sound "wireless" speakers only work with wi-fi if you buy their connection card that costs about $100! So it needs to say "wi-fi CAPABLE with ..
Summary: I only have experience with two Samsung products - my amazing LN52B750 television, and my hunk-of-junk HT-BD3252 Blu-Ray HTIB system (purchased through another retailer). The Blu-Ray player was an out-of-box partial failure since the eject button never worked, but I didn't think this a significant problem and used the button on the remote instead.

It needs to be in matrix for watching tv and constantly changes itself out. Then the remote will not send the signal needed to put back into matrix. Customer service is a joke and basically I've been screwed. Probably too late to jump on board a class action? However, I'd be in!
Summary: My experience was identical to "Samsung service is impossible." A rear speaker was defective. On the first call, they promised to send a replacement. After several more calls over nearly two months, I was finally told I'd have to send the ENTIRE SYSTEM back for them to determine whether the part was defective and that the previous reps had misinformed me. Repacking the system is not a task for mere mortals.
Summary: Do not waste your money on this system. The sound quality is awful and the rear wireless speakers did not work when I received the unit. Contacting Samsung is a pain, with countless hours of waiting on hold for a rep.to answer, and then they want to charge you $50.00 to have the receiver sent in for repair. Save yourself some headache and look for another brand more reliable.
Summary: The system is a very good looking with average sound (I am not a sound specialist, but the sound is ok, not excellent). Easy to install, cheap (I paid $430 for refurbished, including tax and delivery), has wireless rear speakers (that's the reason I bought it). Few things to know for future buyers (things that I definitely do NOT like in the system): 1. The remote control is not lid when buttons are pressed.
Buggy and annoying sound delay and wireless connection

Summary: I've had the HTB for six months now, and I can say that it's really nice having so many features for such a good price, but there are many annonying things about the unit that add up to a poor user experience. Most annoying is that there's about a 5-second sound delay when doing anything--from changing channels to fast-forwarding the DVR--I mean anything!
