Summary: Love it. We live in a modest home with neighbors very close by. Any higher levels would cause disturbances. Hooked to both the dvd player and my dish network after a little thought and some trial and error. Wow! The background noises we can now hear are amazing. Makes football games and music great.
Summary: Honestly this was the worst purchase I ever made, the sound quality is really bad. The DVD player was out dated. I had to cut some speaker wires to extend and place the speaker in the correct positions, so now I cant return the system.
Summary: Product arrived with moderate difficulty from UPS. From there we got it set up, the dvd player started, read a dvd, then the speakers didn't seem to work right, so we tried another dvd and the player refused to read. We tried several other DVD's and got nothing. Boxed it back up and got a refund. Not chancing another one. Buy with caution.
Summary: I got this thing on black friday since I had gotten a new tv and was wanting something to put in my room for surround sound. It's lightweight, not bulky or too big to hide the speakers. But the sound isn't great volume doesn't get very loud, and while you're playing a dvd I had to turn the volume up all the way and the more you turned the volume up the louder the fan got, I could hear the fan more than the speakers! The subwoofer sounds like it doesn't even work.
Summary: Well, the sound is ok if you live in an apartment, which I do. However, after having it for a few weeks, it always makes this horrid grinding sound, like the dvd player was on (which I NEVER use, I'm more of a computer junkie and everything I use I use through my tower, this was just for sound).
Summary: My parents actually own this, its an alright system, if your used to high quality systems you'll definatly notice the sound quality differance in this one, however it dose have decent amount of volume. Its a good unit if your looking for something as a starter or secondary suround system in your home, or home office.
