  • Summary: Not worth a second look. We put up with the slow start up time and mediocre sound quality for the first year, but now the machine can't play a whole movie before it just quits. The sound quality got worse with each movie, we finally just unplugged the "poser" subwoofer and did without it. Buy it and you will regret it a year later like we do. The reviews posted after initial purchase are misleading, this system will fail you, you can count on it.

  • Summary: If all you want to do is listen to the radio, this is where it's at. Other than that, it's not much good. The remote is slow to react to input even when held a few inches from the unit, it rarely connects to Netflix, and when it does it is slow and often just freezes and stops. Then you have to restart the whole thing and try to continue. I did this about 8 to 10 times in the first half hour of the movie I was attempting to watch.

  • Summary: I bought my system a year and a half ago, to start, when I got it we couldn't get it to connect to my wifi, after a 2 hour phone call to customer service we discovered we had a defective unit but they were quick to send us a new system right away. The problem I have with it is it acts like a smart phone that has far too much stuff saved on it, its really slow to accept input from the controller even after pressing a function 5 or 6 times it often doesn't work.

  • Summary: This has to be one of the first wifi sets produced by Phillips! it doesn't allow for anything other than Netflix. it does NOT support Apple products by usb. I have to play pandora using the usb and the aux cable and the sound only comes out of 2 speakers. it would have been nice to be able to download/upload apps to the system like pandora or hulu then I would be able to have the full sound quality.

  • Summary: I wrote a review advising the front right, left, center and subwoofer wire were WAY TOO SHORT. I emailed Phillips and a week later received no response. I called the Parts Consultants listed on the website and they do not sell extension wires, or the connectors. BUT they will sell you the rear speakers with the longer wires, for the price of the unit. SO I call Phillips customer service.

  • Summary: I received this item as a gift on 12/25/2012, so I've had it just over one year and the blu-ray player will no longer play any discs. I used a Blu-Ray cleaner disc on it, but that didn't help it. It makes a beeping noise every time I insert a disc & says "unknown disc" and it won't play. Complaints I have for when it was actually working: 1. If you pressed Pause while watching a Blu-Ray disc, it would mess up when you pressed to start playing it again.
