Summary: I guess it's kind of cheap just because it's unqualified. I'm sorry to say that but this stuff really made me mad because it's full of problem and doesn't work after 2 weeks. Maybe i'm just bad luck and i all i can say is good luck for people who is going to buy this!
Summary: This was not new. I just plugged it in, but there was no plastic over the display and it has some light streaky scratching on it. There was also no users manual or quick start guide included or batteries for the remote. So far it sounds alright for the price. We will see as far as that goes, but based soley on the fact that I got a used unit and I paid for a new one I am annoyed. Can't decide if it's worth it to send it back.
Summary: Don't buy! It only lasted 2 months! I had to fight with Phillips to return the item and get a refund but they eventually refunded my money but didn't refund my shipping cost when I punched it! If your looking for a great sound bar buy a Visio!
Phillips Soundbar stopped working within 16 months!

Summary: Just like the others in this comment section. This worked well for the first 10-12months...but after the warranty ended it started making a loud noise every time you turned it on (for about 3 minutes)....then 4 month later is stopped working completely. I am outside of the warranty and just blew $120. Obviously this product does not work and has some serious technically issues. Phillips should refund for this product. I will NEVER purchase another Phillips product.
Summary: Hook up was easy and didn't take long at all. Looks good as well. Sound was leaps and bounds better than the tv speakers. Stopped working about 5 months after i got it. Would never by again and was angry i wasted my money. Don't waste your money!
