Summary: I was let down by the poor sound quality that this system provided. Really don't know what else to say. You have to turn it up all the way to get the bass pumping. I ended up giving this away to my mother. Don't buy it's a waste of money.
Summary: when buying this if you want an amazing sound bar don't be cheap go spend hundreds on one. if you want a good one that sounds good for not a lot of money with a nice sub option get this, great for movies or parties to play music
Summary: I bought this soundbar for an upgrade to the speakers of our new LG 42" TV. I can't say enough about its performance. The TV/soundbar are in our basement, which is a 17x12 room, ceilings at about 10'. With the 'surround' feature on this soundbar sounds fantastic and it gets plenty loud for this size room. Extremely easy to install.
Summary: I received this today and easily set it up. I ordered the digital optic to go with it. I hooked it up to a 60" LG smart tv. The Philips does just as advertised. Sound quality is very good. I went back and forth between internal and external. Can't believe I waited over a year to purchase a soundbar. I love it.

Summary: This sound bar is a must buy if your looking for quality sound in a small room. I was skeptical of it because of how cheap it looks and its price but you will not be disappointed. Target sells this product Brand New for 70 bucks. HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT!? Pros: Great sound quality Good subwoofer Very affordable Cons: Remote is very small and cheap Volume does not go very loud.
Summary: Excellent price performance. We had no idea how much sound detail and depth we were missing on regular TV programming with our TV's built in speakers. No problems with setting it up using the digital optical link.
