Summary: What arrived looked like it had been through the ringer a few times. Most refurbished items I've purchased through overstock have been in fairly good shape: this one looked heavily used. All of my 14-year-old Bose home theater speakers are cosmetically in much better shape than what arrived. Most importantly, while the technical info stated that it was compatible with Panasonic home theater systems, that's not necessarily the case.
Summary: I bought this to use as another set of speakers when playing mps cds. It won't get a clear signal halfway through the house (maybe 25ft). Basically it only works when it's so close that you can hear the other speakers clearly...whats the point. Nice idea, poor product.
Summary: I am reasonably satisfied with my SH-FX80. It could not have been easier to integrate with the main system. The signal is strong and clear. The drawback is the volume. While it has a softer and lounder switch, it is too soft at the loudest setting. The speaker's volume is tied to the main unit's volume. To get the SH-FX80 to play at the desired volume, the main system must blast loudly.
Summary: Don't waste your money on this "second room" wireless speaker. The signal barely reached into the second room and then it was weak and flickered on and off. I tried to return it but Panasonic wouldn't take it back.
Summary: Dont waste your time or money on this. The sound quality was poor and I had to turn up the volume on the receiver so loud just to be able to hear it on the wireless speaker...which defeated the whole purpose. After an hour of adjusting and re-adjusting I packed it back up and sent it back.
