Good system. Wireless rear speakers could be louder.

Summary: Did not like preset Equalizer, No manual operation of equalizer. Wish subwoofer was wireless. too. Took time to setup. The up convertion wasn't worth it. Still want a blu-ray. Lots of remote buttons thet are not ever used.
Summary: This is a friendly user system. The sound is excellent for the prize. I am able to watch more DVD types. The system allows to upgrade the image on my old Mitsubishi projector TV set. The multiple DVD slots are a plus. Using an HDMI to DVI adapter the image quality is excellent. The bamboo speakers as well as the remote speakers deliver excellent sound.
Summary: I HAD SEEN THAT FRY'S ELECTRONICS WAS SELLING THESE UNITS FOR $400 ON SALE ALMOST EVERY WEEK. I WAS DOING MY RESEARCH ON IT & WHEN I MADE UP MY MIND ON WHICH UNIT I WAS GOING TO GET THE STOPPED CARRYING THEM. IT NEVER FAILS. WENT TO BEST BUY AND THEY HAD A UNIT LEFT WHICH THEY WANTED $530. LUCKED UP ON ONE FROM EBAY NEW IN THE BOX FOR $400 FREE SHIPPING AND I JUMPED ON IT. 5 DISC DVD CHANGER PLAYS EVERYTHING YOU PUT IN IT. I MADE A MP3 DVD WHICH WILL LAST FOR DAYS.
Summary: I looked around after purchasing this product and found better products. Although they cost more, I think I would rather have a better product. Also, this system sells 1250 watts .... BUT NOT VERY LOUD AT ALL !!!!! And I am sure there is a reason theres are so many of these systems that are REFURBISHED. I wish I could even have half of my money back so I could purchase something else.
Summary: Wonderful product, got it for Christmas as a gift played Rockband watched some movies great sound. I have a fairly large living room and sound was right on. Sub is a bit much, wish I could turn it down or it had more than two modes and off.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy Controls, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound
Summary: Comments about Panasonic SC-PT960 Home Theater System: You have no idea what you're missing if you don't have a home theater system. This one even docs with the iPod for an amazing sound experience. The only problem is you won't know if someone is sneaking up on you, because the sound from the movie or music sounds like it's coming from all around the room. I don't know who is setting prices at PCRush, but how do they make money?
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Setup, Interfaces Well With TV, Intuitive Controls, Thundering Bass
Summary: I'm still mastering the remote: the instructions don't match all that happens. However, that may be more user error than inherent problems with the instructions. That said, this is amazing for the price: It's like a whole different world of viewing. Warning: It takes some gettig used to watching football (the crowd sounds like it is all around you, a little unnerving at first).
