Panasonic SC PT850 Surround Sound Review

Kev Lunn, Unbeatable
30 November 2007
  • Excerpt: Bought the SC-PT850 to pair up with my new 37" Panasonic Plasma. I''m very pleased with both sound and picture quality from the DVD player. Sound quality is also excellent from audio CDs and FM (connected up to a roof-top FM aerial) - so good, in fact, that I''ve ''de-cluttered'' by removing my Technics midi hi-fi system and spkrs and will now rely on the Panasonic Home Cinema for everything.
  • Pros: Picture and sound quality, connectivity. Multi function
  • Cons: Over complex manual. Viera Link does not work with Sky HD box - without modifying HDMI cable.

Panasonic SC-PT850 Home Cinema System

Vicky40, Ciao
12 September 2007
  • Excerpt: "We bought a really good 52\" LCD TV, but the sound was average and so decided to buy this system to improve it. Once installed, the difference is amazing! There are 2 front speakers, 2 rear speakers, 1 centre speaker and a subwoofer. Each speaker is very stylish and unobtrusive, the centre speaker (mainly for vocal) is small and the subwoofer is small and stylish, which means that this system enhances the furniture in your living room, rather than ...
  • Pros: Amazing sound experience
  • Cons: A bit confusing when setting up .
