A great bargain for what I paid, but there are better models out there.

Summary: This system was a breeze to set up. but the surround sound quality leaves something to be desired. It has a real aggressive low end that cancels out the clear mids and highs. This is not fixable even by bringing down the subwoofer level. Although the iPod dock is an awesome feature!!! Being able to plug in your iPod and access all of it's content via your remote makes up for anything that this unit may be lacking. It even charges your iPod!!!
Summary: My husband and I received this system as a Christmas gift in Dec '09. We had done a lot of research, knowing we wanted a box home theather system, and that we needed wireless due to the setup of our living room. This system seemed about perfect. First, the good. -The sound, when there are no issues, is quite good. The speakers seems to have decent sound. -The wireless concept is really quite nice.
Summary: This product was fairly easy to assemble. The problem is the instruction booklet on how to operate it is VERY difficult to understand and confusing. The unit is on a shelf beneath my DirecTv receiver, therefore I have to lay on the floor to be able to see the tiny, tiny lights. The remote is totally user unfriendly and again, I have to look closely for different buttons that are place awkwardly, such as the tiny mute button is situated by other tiny buttons.
Summary: The system installs very easy, simple steps. Wireless rear speakers make it easy with virtually no special setup procedures. DVD picture quality is average to good and the sound is good and loud but not quite true high fidelity. Disappointing to find no video inputs that can be switch to via the remote(like from TV/Cable box) so had to use an external RCA switch (get off the couch to change from DVD to cable).
