Summary: I bought this product from the PX on a military base to go with a Panasonic 50 in. It worked fine for about 11 months and then it just stopped reading dvds and cds one day and kept giving me an error code (when googled it was known as the panasonic death code for it - HD 01 or something like that).
Summary: I bought this item a little over 2 years ago. Worked great, sound was good, except for a little static but I wasn't looking to spend much so I can't complain too much about glitches. However, my disc tray got jammed and when I took it in to get it fixed, it turned out it was completely shot.
Summary: I have owned this system for about 2 years and it quit working properly within the first year. First, the DVD player would not open...had to turn it off and on a couple of times to get it to respond. Then about 6 months ago it quit responding to the selected functions. I turned it on and no sound.
Summary: I bought the pt 560 in feb '08 and it was nothing but problems. Panasonic customer service was terrible. After 3 repairs, the authorized tech convinced Panasonic to replace it. The pt 760 lasted 1 year and 5 months and now it won't work. Panasonic refuses to do anything for me.
Summary: The overall performance of this system was great, but the optical laser failed soon after the 1-year manufacturer's warranty expired. I'm getting it fixed under a credit card extended warranty program, but I've had to send the DVD unit off for a month to get the repair done.
Summary: When i first got the surround sound, i thought it was a defect but when i plugged it in everything was there and working properly. The sound is good and the controls with my panasonic television work like a charm! The viera controls are a nice addition to the whole setup!
