Summary: I purchased this Item refurbished, and I am happy to say that I was very satisfied. To me it seems completely new, and runs great. No missing components or paper work. The system plays great, easy set up, and quick start up. The speakers are good, and I was surprised by power of the sub.
Summary: I am almost 100% satisfied with this purchase. When I bought it I didn't check all the features it would have. I was looking for any home theater with panasonic's viera link to connect it with my TV and as soon as I saw the price of this one, I bought it.
Summary: I bought the Panasonic SC-PT660 5 DVD Home Theater System in Jan 2009. The wires for the surround speakers were too short. The woofer speaker is not finished on the left side. The instructions for operating the system were vague and complicated at the same time.
Summary: The system is easy to set up and easy to use. The sound at low to mid volume is great. If you like to rattle the walls, i don't think you will be happy with this unit .. it distorts when cranked up. However, for the price, it's a bargin.
Summary: I bought one of these systems to compliment my Panasonic Viera HDTV, as the "Viera Link" feature seemed pretty sweet. I'm not going to lie, the audio quality and picture quality of this system are indeed very good, but that's about the only positives I can come by.
Summary: I purchased the Home Theater System based on use/performance/price for our open floor plan kitchen/family room (approx. 22 x 18). This system is more than adequate and impressive. Setup was simple and straight forward.
Summary: The looks aren't striking or ugly/gaudy, it meshes in with my entertainment set up nicely without detracting or screaming for attention. The remote is intuitive and easy to learn without studying the manual, but the feel of the remote in my hand is somewhat awkward.
Pros: Reasonable price, good sound quality, easy set up, decent manual.
Cons: None really. The white speaker wire does seem to stand out in my living room.
