Summary: I have had this for about a year. I chose this because I had bought a Panasonic TV. From the very beginning I thought the sound was lacking. We normally just use the TV speakers. It sounds a little better after warming up, but there is something wrong in tonal balance. The output power is also pretty low considering the price. I bought a system for my PC for $40, and it sounds a lot better. The unit worked pretty well when I had uverse.
Summary: The product was so-so, and kind of cheesy. I bought the Panasonic Keltron set two years ago, loved it, and was surprised how different the quality was with this set. My big beef was with Amazon, who continues to ship large electronics like this in the original box only without any additional packing, and also continues to reship items that have been opened by someone else.
Summary: Think twice about how two very thin speakers and a sub are going to fill the sound stage. I bought this to improve the sound of the TV in my small bedroom in my small apartment. The price looked good, the form factor offered different mounting options, and Panasonic is a brand I am inclined to trust. It's got to be pretty decent, right? Wrong! It only took a few nights of use to decide that this device was definitely not intended for my use case.
Summary: It may take a few hours/days to notice if you are not a pro, but everybody will eventually notice that "sounds" are missing during their favorite movie, these are in the mid range sound. This system can not produce this range. You will notice probably right about when your subwoofer starts to produce acceptable bass. It takes hours/days (depending how much you use it in the beginning) for the sub to get "worked in.
It worked great - but for ONLY 58 DAYS!!! Panasonic Product Support gets a failing grade.

Summary: Setup was relatively simple and once I completed all the appropriate settings on my Panasonic HDTV and Blu-ray player, operation and integration through Viera link was great. This system can't compete with the THX 7.1 surround of my main home theater, but it was a good addition for the family room TV. As I stated, it worked great for 58 days. On day 59, my daughter was watching an episode of Glee when the unit just quit. No sound, no lights, nothing.
