Summary: I wish I could give a reveiw about the equipment. The equipment was mismatched from at least 4 systems, only the instruction manual was from a Panasonic SC-HT730. The seller misrepresented the product. There was virtually no packing and as a consequence the entire system was destroyed on arrival.
Summary: i just got this yesterday from my local radio shack. This is the best home theater system i have ever had it sounds just like the movie theater . the bass is awsome with the dual subs it shakes and rumbles like u have never hered. the satilites are very crisp and clear they are very nice.
Summary: This DVD player and surround combo is everything you could ever ask for in a cheap home theater system. I had this unit for a few years and everyone was jealous of it. Spend some time tweaking the sound, and you will have your friends going nuts over your surround sound. The DVD menu is easy to navigate and the remote is super easy to use. I had several 2-disc DVDs and this changer came in real handy. Switching discs takes less than 20 to 30 seconds.
I love it.. EXCEPT can't use headphones and use speakers at same time

Summary: I have this system and it has been very good. I have used audio/video cables to allow me to connect my cable and vcr, however, I just bought some wireless headphones, but when I plug them into the headphone jack, it doesn't allow me to also have regular sound on. I NEED some way of having another ouptut, right now it will only output through the digital receiver cable that goes to the subwoofer... Is there a digital reciver splitter?
Summary: Great system and sound. I have the rear wireless unit too. Works flawlessly. Why 4 star then? - won't play PAL DVDs. ALL cheap DVD player can play PAL on NTSC TV, don't understand why Panasonic/Sony can't or won't do that.
Summary: My brother just got this system for really cheap at Best Buy and he asked me to look at it to see if it was a good deal to keep. After that I liked the system so much that I bought it for myself. It has really good sound for the price and the 5 Disc dvd player is essential. Its also pretty nice looking. Overall, im very pleased with it.
Summary: I set this up as a secondary home theatre system in my home. Although not as detailed as my main system, I was very surprised by the sound quality for the price. Excellent for movies, but a bit harsh for pure music listening for my tastes. The Sub could be a little more refined, but it is adjustable. If you are looking for decent movie sound on a limited budget, I don't think you can go wrong here.
