Summary: This is a very neat, compact little unit with excellent sound. Perfect for relatively smaller rooms, condos, etc. I bought this partly because of the "Viera link" feature that allows me to integrate its operation with my Panasonic viera tv. This works quite well. I tried running the Vieracast broadband acccess over a wireless link, and was able to upgrade the firmware and connect to youtube, but the wireless speed was too slow for practical enjoyment.
Summary: Just took a week to arrive which i thought was good saying it was over the xmas period. The system fits just beneath my panasonic tv.and looks very neat and tidy. The system is Quit easy to install and the sound is good from both tv.
Summary: Very disappointed with this as its not made clear that the wireless expansion has been DISCONTINUED and impossible to get anywhere!!! The sounds good but will never be sou-round sound and the ipod doc is very fussy to use when it finely works. Not happy and stuck with it.
Summary: I echo all the earlier reviews here, mostly positive, but wish Panasonic had put more effort into making the interface with iPod much, MUCH better. Often the connection to your iPod is lost when you try & switch back from TV, meaning you have to physically extract & re-insert it. But worse than this is the huge awkwardness & slowness in navigating your iPod. You can't use its own interface, you get this truly clunky & painfully slow, old-style scrolling screen by screen.
Summary: Purchased this with a new Sony Bravia TV in January and really pleased with the quality. Lots of features and easy to add the other two speakers later on if required - we're using with just the two speakers and the sub-woofer and are finding this more than meets our needs.
Summary: This gives you good 2.1 sound ... ie 2 ordinary speakers as well as a sub woofer . This latter speaker gives you the bass you really need for cinema effects. It is not such good sound as 5.1 but then it isnt and you dont have all those wires everywhere. What you can do if you wish is buy two more speakers and if you wish have them connected wirelessly if you want. So commendably upgradable.
Summary: Still being the owner of a huge non digital, non anything remotely mordern, TV. I deceided to upgrade to a modern flat screen, LCD TV. Doing this mean't that my current home cinema system would also need replacing. Not being the most technically minded person I felt it would help if I purchased from the same manufacturer ie compatible instruction manuals, compatible design etc. After much study I choose a Panasonic TV and this Home Cinema System.
