Summary: 1St Surround Sound System I have purchased. Seems to work good with Blu Ray or DVDs. Sound volume thru TV is lacking. Even for BluRay normally use volume of 70 or more. My HDMI terminal is not ARC so I have a MediaBridge Toslink Optical Diital Audio Cable for the TV. I paid $8 for it but regular price was $50 or so? Regular high end audio cables seem to work as well if not better.
Summary: disappointed with this system. says it's wireless rear speakers, when in fact you need to purchase a wireless receiver in addition to the sysstem, and connect (with WIRES!) the two rear speakers. sounds good, works nicely, loving the internet, but one of the biggest reasons for my purchase was the wireless rear, and it's not good that i wasn't made aware that i'd need to put more money into it if i didn't want to run wires back behind my couch.
Pretty Good - Never Streamed before - had to upgrade my Router too.

Summary: Got this as a gift for Xmas 2011 and could not stream for about three weeks because we could not download the "Firmware Update." Apparently Panasonic's download site was overloaded. We tried all times, even 3 AM and it would fail at 3% to 83% of the download. Finally one morning in early January, presto; done. Then we were streaming Netflix for a few days when the sound went out on JUST NETFLIX.
Summary: I would have to agree with most of the reviews of this system. For the price, great features and great 5.1 surround sound. The back has most the features and inputs you'll ever need. But couple of minuses 1. this is minor, if you have an iphone/ipod that is ICloud enabled, you cannot use the dock, maybe they'll fix this with the next firmware patch. 2. The rear speaker wires were a tad short and my living room isn't all that big. 3.

Summary: We just bought this as our first home theater system and so far the sound quality has been excellent. We also enjoy the apps included (mainly the Pandora app) to listen to music. Set-up was fairly simple, although the basic instructions do not include instructions for connecting a DVR/set-top cable box/etc. and that requires some additional steps and another HDMi or optical cable to make all the connections.
Summary: First the positive: The sound that comes out of this little unit is amazing. The small size is just incredible, and the unit never gets hot. I was worried because this unit does not have a powered subwoofer, but the bass is very loud and leaves me very impressed and not wanting more. Also, the speaker grills are metal and durable (not cloth covers, like on previous models). I love the Vieracast internet accessible content.
