Summary: The 7.1 sound is excellent, but that is about it. The remote is difficult to use, and the menu is even more difficult to navigate. The BD player is REALLY slow to turn on, and REDICULOUSLY slow to open and close the disc tray. I find myself trying to think of other things I could get done while I am waiting for the tray to open. I had a Panasonic SC-HT730 5 Disc DVD player before this, and miss the heck out of it. If only it were a BD player...
It has stopeed reading/playing any DVD. Blu ray disc works fine

Summary: I bought this system 8 months ago. Every thing was working smoothly. Picture and sound quality are good. But suddenly now it has stopped reading/playing any dvd disc. I am not sure if its a common problem. I have talked to Panasonic tech support , they asked me to update the firmware which I did but it didn't help. Now they have asked me to send the unit to the service center. I am little disappointed.
Summary: I am PIG-BITING MAD that NO ONE mentioned the proprietary speaker wire that comes with this system. I read all the reviews before purchasing, and I am STUNNED that no one mentioned this! This may be a great system, it may have great sound, but I'LL NEVER KNOW because I'm sending it back! This would have been a replacement system for me, so I already have my own HIGH QUALITY 14 ga. speaker wire run under the baseboards of my living room.
Pros: Stylish and perfect size for a bedroom. Not the best for music but great for movie clarity.
Cons: Sub only has only 4 preset settings and sometimes cannot handle even the lowest setting. I think we might have a defect on the BR player as it always freezes and or says please wait until we unplug it. This could go on for hours if not unplugged.
Summary: Not that I am an audio snob, but this unit doesn't have the sound to live up to the picture.....get the best of one world and really weak sound....the subwoofer and speaker wire set up is deplorable.....mine will be returned immediately.
