Summary: Bought two different RCA surround sounds before i got this panasonic one. The panasonic has a lot of bells and whistles that the RCA ones did not. I have a panasonic 50" tv with viera link, so it automatically syncs up to my TV remote (whilst using hdmi connection). So i put the blu ray player inside of an entertainment center, to where you can't even see it, but it's able to be controlled with the TV remote, so it works really well.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Setup, Good Remote, Interfaces Well With TV, Intuitive Controls, Thundering Bass
Summary: Gave this gift to my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! We watched a movie on it that morning. Links right up to Netflix and YouTube. The ipod dock is great, you use the remote to control it, so you can change the songs from your couch. We have small-ish living room and only need to turn it up to about half. Just trying to figure out if we can adjust the sound of the individual speakers, we'd like to turn up the front speakers for louder dialogue.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Setup, Energy Efficient, Interfaces Well With TV
Pros: I figured there are REALLY cheap systems and REALLY expensive ones. I'm a Bose Fan myself but do not have the money to afford high quality speakers, & live in an apartment so I dont have the need for it either.
Cons: The Rear speakers are wireless but being new to surround sound, I had to figure out how to set up the system. You need a WIRELESS REAR SPEAKER KIT & A ROLL OF 20 GAUGE SPEAKER WIRE. A Minor Inconvienience.
