Summary: The quality of these speakers is spot on for the price.' Everything sounds really good for this price, including the Dolby Surround sound integration. The only shortcomings are mostly software related. For example: the unit does not automatically accept the ARC connection when switched on... Instead it switches the tv to it's video output for Blu-Ray/Dvd to play whatever is in the tray. Also I cannot seem to find the area to disable the auto-shutoff in the settings.
Summary: This Blu-Ray Player/Surround Sound System works well via HDMI connections with my den's Panasonic HD flat screen. Panasonic Vierra integration is nice even thought it takes some trial and error to set up the system to transfer sound via HDMI and power on/off via the TV remote. Lip synch also requires some adjustment time/effort.
Summary: The sound is excellent in any mode, however I need to turn it up to at least 35 - 40 to hear anything. It has awesome picture quality using either standard DVD's or Blu-Ray disc. I haven't used the 3D function as of yet. Small, stylish and powerful. The internet apps are amazing, wish I could add additional. Upon setting the system up I found that I needed to purchase an optical cord to hear the tv in surround sound.
inexpensive easy to setup - watch out inaccurate manual

Summary: Setup was really easy. Well, I found the "easy setup" annoying compared to the traditional, poke around and change what I need. What this unit has on the back: 3 port RCA composite (Yellow/Red/White) hmdi out port (with Audio Return Channel support) ethernet port color coded plugs for the 6 speakers. power Minor Complaints: 1)I hate firmware upgrades. Mainly because I'm nervous of "frying" a device by impatiently interfering with it's update.
Summary: Summary: The SC-BTT270 is worth every penny!! Picture and sound quality are awesome, but a few features are missing (hence 4- instead of 5-stars). Pros: - Picture quality is great with either DVD or blu-ray. (I haven't tried 3D blu-ray, as I don't have a 3D-TV.) - Sound quality is even more of a pleasant surprise. Bass is punchy, sound is high in quality and pleasant to listen to, sound is undistorted even at very high volumes.
Summary: I recently purchased the Panasonic SC-BT230 as an update/upgrade to my home theater system, replacing an RCA system. I wanted something that would take up less space, without sacrificing quality or sound. I also wanted wireless rear speakers to avoid running wires from the main unit to the rear speakers, & this unit delivered (purchase of the remote Panasonic SH-FX71 was separate, but essential for this).
Summary: I'm really happy with this product. Sound quality is really good, the small speakers don't take much space and the features provided (internet apps and all that) are nice. The only down side in my case is that for some reason I can't get Netflix to work. I'm in Costa Rica and everytime I try to access Netflix I get this error message saying only the most recent versions of this product can be used outside the USA and Canada...
Summary: This is a compact but powerful home theater system. I can play the radio (FM only) at volume 10 of 100 and hear classical music quite clearly. The system is in an apartment living room/dining room combination that measures approximately 36' by 21'. I can still hear the radio in the bedroom while it is on volume #10. Sound quality is very good for FM and movies.
